The action has already begun for Week No 7 in the tennis calendar with major tournaments running parallel to Europe, Asia and America.
The Greek audience will certainly focus on the effort of Stefanos Tsitsipas, who will compete at the ABN AMRO World Tennis Tournament in Rotterdam, Netherlands. The Greek champion, starting from No. 3 on the board, will be asked to face Damir Dzumhur in the first round. In the previous 3 games between them, the Bosnian tennis player has managed to win the 2, keeping a small lead between them and is definitely an opponent that will make it difficult for the Greek tennis player.
From the Netherlands, we go to the other end of the Atlantic, where later in the afternoon are expected to launch two ATP 250 tournaments in Argentina and the USA.
In the Argentinian capital, is about to start the second clay tournament of the season, Buenos Aires Open, where the names of Dominic Thiem and Fabio Fognini stand out.
Last but not least, the New York Open will start with Americans John Isner and Francis Tiafoe being the big favorites to win the title in front of their compatriots.
Finally, in Asia and specifically in Qatar, the WTA Premier Tournament Qatar Total Open has already begun. Despite the absence of the Australian Open holder and No.1 in the world, Naomi Osaka, due to injury, the remaining top tennis players will be present. Halep, Pliskova, Wozniacki, Svitolina, and Kerber are expected to compete hard for the title in this tournament.
