Two extremely ambiguous matches are expected today for the ABN Amro World Tennis Tournament semi-finals at the Ahoy Rotterdam Arena’s green stadiums.
Specifically at 16:00 Greek time, Gaël Monfils faces Daniil Medvedev. The two tennis players were confronted just one week before again in a semi-final at the Sofia Open. In that game, Medvedev prevailed relatively comfortably with 6-2, 6-4, and then reached the title.
In the second semifinal, which is expected to start at 20:30 Greek time, the No. 1 board and the big favorite to win the title, Kei Nishikori will face Stan Wawrinka. The Swiss tennis player seems to have completely outgrown his injury and wants to repeat the triumph of 2015 when he won the tournament by prevailing against Tomáš Berdych in the final.
