Herbert’s message

After his triumphant victory over Fernando Verdasco with 6-4, 6-4 in the first round of the Monte Carlo Masters, young French tennis player Pierre-Hugues Herbert felt the need to dedicate his victory to the “injured” Notre Dame, wrapped in the flames on Monday night, painting in the camera that killed him throughout the fight.

The 28-year-old tennis player turned the monks of Monaco and those who watched the fight on their television.
He wrote the phrase “Notre Dame” and then painted a broken heart as a symbol of all the damages suffered by Notre Dame, 856 years after the construction of the temple began.
