Making a very good fight, the 20 year old Greek tennis player won Kohlschreiber 6-3, 7-6 and took the second ticket for the Intrum Stockholm Open semifinals.
He was considerably better in the 1st set, winning 13 of 15 points in his first serve, not threatened with a break point and made a decisive break in the 4th game, gaining a 3-1 lead.
In the 2nd set, Kohlschreiber tried harder anf he seemed to be able to make it for quite some time but Tsitsipas stayed at his height and kept his serve, reducing to 5-3.
The Greek champion began to regain his momentum and made the break that put him back in the set, reducing to 5-4. He equalized to 5-5 and eventually he won with 7-4.
Now he will face Mario Bonini (No 14) to claim the qualification in the third final of his career (all of them this year).
