After the Citi Open last week and his victory over Tsitsipas, Kyrgios wanted to highlight Stefanos’ assets on camera. He said:
“It was an incredible match. It was a great experience to play with him. We played double. I feel like I know him a little better than last week. He is a great kid. He is very young and will do great things in this sport. “It was amazing. It could have been any one of us. It could have easily won me over. We’ll still play many times I think. It was definitely one of the most fun games I’ve ever played.”
However, the ambitious Greek-Australian tennis player did not miss the opportunity to mention the very big goal of his career:
“I like team tournaments. I think winning the Davis Cup or something like that would be the biggest goal. The ATP Cup would be great too. I play with my teammates from a very young age. With Jordan Thompson, I’ve been playing since I was 9 years old. I would like to win something together, “Kyrgios said.
