The new stars of world tennis continued to offer a rich spectacle on the second day of the Next Gen ATP Finals.
The one that stands out so far is Jannik Sinner, who secured the first spot of the semifinals after yesterday’s win over Swedish Mikael Ymer. The 18-year-old Italian, who participates in the tournament with a wild card, plays exceptionally well and with the support of his compatriots he looks truly unbeatable.
In today’s games, the remaining 3 positions of the semifinals will be judged. In the first group everything is open with Alex de Minaur and Miomir Kecmanovic having a small lead, since everything depends on them. If they win Casper Ruud and Davidovich Fokina respectively, they will qualify. For the second group, the qualification will be judged in the game between Frances Tiafoe and Mikael Ymer, with the winner following Sinner in the semifinals.
