One step ahead of the big final that we all expect, Roger Federer and Novak Djokovic, are playing tonight at the Nitto ATP Finals.
In the first semi-final (16:00 Greek time), Roger Federer will be called upon to overcome the obstacle of Alexander Zverev, perhaps the greatest player of the new generation of tennis. Zverev has proved to be worthwhile among the top of the sport, with his presence in the 4th of the event being another great achievement. On the other hand, 37-year-old Federer is for the 15th time in the semifinals of the event and will compete for the 7th ATP Finals title and 100th overall in his career.
In the second semifinal which is due to start at around 22:00 Greek time, Novak Djokovic faces Kevin Anderson in a rematch of this year’s Wimbledon final, but in quite different circumstances. The two athletes were the ones who were most impressive at the group stage and the game between them is expected to be very competitive despite the fact that the Serbian has only lost once in their previous 8 games. Djokovic is claiming the 6th title at the ATP Finals, wanting to match Federer’s record.
