The Greek champion continued her stunning appearances in Morocco, winning Alison van Uytvanck with 6-4, 6-4 in the semifinal that was completed a while ago.
Sakkari was once again excellent from start to finish and was imposed against her rival, taking the ticket for her first final of the season and just the second overall in her career after last year’s final in San Jose.
It is of course a huge success for the 23-year-old tennis player, who will aim for tomorrow’s final against Johanna Konta to win her first WTA tournament title.
