The Greek champion has fulfilled her first goal after her win over Madison Keys today and will continue her presence at the Australian Open on the second week.
The 24-year-old tennis player made a great appearance, beating her American rival by 6-4, 6-4. In the central arena of the Australian Open and with the support of Greek expatriates, Sakkari has proven she can compete with the top playres and win.

Her next opponent will No 8 in the world, Petra Kvitova who easily outscored Ekaterina Alexandrova with 6-1, 6-2. The game will be on Sunday, with the exact time not yet set.
The biggest surprise of the day, however, was the elimination of Queen Serena by Chinese Wang Qiang with 2-1 sets.
