Serena Williams withdrew her roll from Roland Garros and she will not face Maria Sharapova in the 4th round. Just minutes before her scheduled game with Maria Sharapova in Roland Garros’ most important race in the 4th round, Serena Williams announced she will not continue her career in Paris.
She said the problem was an injury to a pectoral muscle, which obviously occured last week when she gave her first games in the tour after two months and in the soil after two years. As she said at the press conference, it began to bother her since yesterday and she couldn’t serve at all in her current training.
