Shangai Rolex Masters – Day 4

With two big surprises, the fourth day of the Shangai Rolex Masters ended, while Cilic and Thiem (No. 5 and No 6 respectively on the board) lost the race in the 32nd round.

Croatian Chillic managed to lose yet another game that resembled Xiliano Garry with 2-6, 7-6 (6), 7-5, thus prematurely disappointing this tournament.

Dominic Thiem, who lost the excellent Ebden with 6-4, 6-7 (8), 7-6 (4), had the same chance. At the same time, the Austrian tennis player sees the chances of his participation in the Nitto ATP Finals being diminished as he is currently in the 10th and final position in the list of participants.

In the other games of the day, some won, with Novak Djokovic showing in excellent condition in the debut of the tournament, easily surpassing Chardy’s barrier by 6-3, 7-5.
