After about two hours of hard play, the Greek champion picked up the Estoril Open Cup, thus taking the 3rd title for the history of his career. Stefanos defeated Pablo Cuevas 6-3, 7-6 (4) and won the final of the Portuguese tournament for 2019.
Despite the fact that Pablo Cuevas was not an easy opponent, Stephanos showed a concentration, he believed himself and did not escape his goal, resulting in a winner. It was the 1st title for Stefanos Tsitsipas on dirt ground and 2nd for 2019, and he goes on as he is only 20 years old and seems to be constantly struggling to improve himself.
The priority for Stefanos is the Madrid tournament, with the Greek champion fighting in the 2nd round, since the firs one is bye. More specifically, his debut will be on Tuesday at the Mutua Madrid Open, where he will play next to Wesley Koolhof. Together they will face Márton Fucsovics and Marco Cecchinato.
