Roger Federer became a champion in Stuttgart for the first time in his career. The Swiss tennis player, No. 1 again in the world rankings, from Monday, was imposed to Milos Raonic with 6-4, 7-6 (3) and won the 98th title of his career, closer to the great landmark of 100 titles, and to the top record of open era history, Jimmy Connors’ 109 career titles.
On the grass he is the only tennis player in the history of professional tennis that has 18 titles with 168 wins on the green surfaces.
