Tsitsipas didn’t make it.

After a very closed match where both sets were decided in tie-break Stefanos Tsitsipas was defeated by Richard Gasquet with 7-6 (2), 7-6 (4).

In a highly balanced game that did not have any break, Gasquet was more focused on the critical points and managed to win the semi-final and at the same time a to take revenge for his defeat in Doha by Tsitsipas.

The Frenchman, No. 2 of the board, will be called to face in the semifinals the Australian Bernard Tomic who made the big surprise by winning over No 4 of the board, Fernando Verdasco.

In the other semi-final, Jérémy Chardy and Matthew Ebden will be confronted in a game where everything is open and the winner will enjoy his first season this year !!!
