With little effort, Tsitsipas found himself in the Marseille final after a match that brought him against the n.55 Kazak Alexander Bublik with 7-5, 6-3 in sets. Stefanos did not seem to have much trouble as he served properly and with two decisive breaks in the 6th and 12th game won a major lead until he secured a 2-0 lead in the final.
For Stephen, this was a very good year for him at the ATP 250 as he broke many personal records. On the one hand, he has the opportunity to claim the winner’s trophy for the second time, as well as last year against Kazakh Mikhail Kukushkin. He also completed his fourteen consecutive victories in the Marseille tournament. Finally, this final is the 10th for Stefanos who has counted in his potential so far five major victories in other major finals.
The final is expected on Sunday 23/2 at 16:00 after Tsitsipas find his rival between his old Rotterdam rival Felix Auger-Aliassime and the twice finalist Gilles Simon.
