Tsitsipas to face Struff, in his debut.

Stefanos Tsitsipas will face Jan-Lennard Struff in his debut at the Sofia Open on Wednesday.

The German tennis player, No. 51 right now in the world, managed to qualify for the next round, by winning the Italian Stefano Travaglia with 6-4, 6-3 in a game that was completed a while ago.

The two of them have met again in the past in the Genova ATP Challenger qualifiers in 2017. Tsitsipas had prevailed with 6-2, 6-3 and went up to the final to win the title.

The day belongs to the Germans, as in the other two games of the day, Yannick Maden and Daniel Brands made excellent appearances, excluding Adrian Mannarino and Nikoloz Basilashvili respectively.

Marius Copil and Matthew Ebden have already qualified for the next round, by bending the resistance of Stan Wawrinka and Adrian Andreev respectively in yesterday’s games that opened the main board for the tournament.

The games that complete the current program are as follows:
Denis Istomin vs. Matteo Berrettini
Follows: Robin Haase vs Dimitar Kuzmanov
Follows: Gaël Monfils vs Viktor Troicki
