Entering the final straight, the week begins with the last two ATP 500 tournaments of the season, in Vienna and Basel respectively.
Of particular interest is the Swiss Indoors Basel, with Stefanos Tsitsipas participating. The Greek champion will make his appearance tomorrow night against the always tough Spaniard Albert Ramos Viñolas.
Except of Tsitsipas, the King Roger Federer, is hoping to win his 10th title in front of his compatriots. The competition is expected to be strong, with Zverev, Bautista-Agut, Goffin and Fognini wanting to go as far as possible in the tournament as they are all chasing a place for the Nitto ATP Finals to be held from November 10-17 at O2 Arena in London, and includes the top 8 athletes of the year.
In Erste Bank Open in Vienna participants will also make their best in order to secure a spot for London. Of course, Dominic Thiem is a big favorite, but he will get a lot of resistance from Tsonga, Berrettini and Shapovalov.
