The two top tennis players Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer got the qualification for the best 8, making a step closer to a final against each other that all the fans are waiting for.
The Spaniard was excellent for another game by winning the Czech Jiří Veselý with 6-3, 6-3, 6-4. Nadal returns to Wimbledon’s quarter-final after 2011, having seen early eliminations for the past seven years. At 32, however, he seems more ready than ever to claim the coveted title again.
On the other hand, King Federer will play for the 16th time in Wimbledon’s quarterfinals. The Swiss has qualified against Frenchman Adrian Mannarino with 6-0, 7-5, 6-4 and continues in the tournament without losing any set yet.
In the rest of the games, the favorites Kevin Anderson, Kei Nishikori and Milos Raonic took the qualification relatively hard, while Del Potro and Djokovic are playing at the moment against Simon and Khachanov respectively.
