WTA – Finals’ Day

The two WTA tournaments that are being held in parallel in Russia and Thailand, conclude today with the Finals.

For the St. Petersburg Ladies Trophy, the 22-year-old Donna Vekic from Croatioa is facing the 27-year-old Kiki Bertens from the Netherlands in the big final that will start at around 3:30 pm Greek time.
Although Bertens is considered to be the big favorite as she is much more experienced than Vekic in the previous 4 matches betwwen them, Vekic already has 3 wins and is sure to have a good chance of winning again.

Earlier, at 12:00 pm Greek time is expected to start the final for the Toyota Thailand Open between Dayana Yastremska and Ajla Tomljanovic. The 25-year-old Tomljanovic from Australia will try to win her first WTA title in her third appearance in a final of a WTA tournament. Against her, the only 18-year-old Yastremska from Ukraine, who already has a WTA title on her resume.
